Welcome to Salon 500, the mega hair care treatment store of Southern Africa. Are you looking to repair, treat, colour, or care for your hair? Then let our trained staff help you, we offer a variety of over 2000 products to leave you looking and feeling like a new and improved version of yourself.

What started as a small hair salon in 1985 under the nameSalon La Freek,through the last 35 years, Salon 500 has become a beacon in the hair care industry. It has grown into one of South Africa's top wholesale and retail outlets for professional hair products, providing one of the most extensive range of brands across the country.

What are the shipping options?

Salon 500 strives to fulfill all orders as fast as possible (most orders are dispatched within 24hours). Major Centres via courier – 1 to 3 working days, Regional Areas – 2 to 5 working days. Delivery is free for all orders over R350, otherwise there is a R75.00 delivery fee. If you are in or around Durban you are more than welcome to collect your order in store.

What is the returns policy?

Our goal is to ensure that you are the happiest customer at all times, however, in the event that you are not satisfied with your product, you may return it to us. Please keep in mind that for hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns if the products have been opened and are no longer in a re-salable condition - all tamper seals, and original packaging needs to be intact and in its original condition. In addition please note that brushes cannot be returned or refunded for hygiene reasons unless they are defective. Purchases must be returned within 7 days of delivery. The items are your responsibility until they arrive back with us. All return costs are for your own account.

When will I receive my order?
